{New Music} Kiara Nelson-Bulletproof

Helsinki based artist, Kiara Nelson, has been building a name for herself. Her debut single Cool My Rush was released earlier this year, earning loads of love from the music media in both her native Finland and around the world, and drawing comparisons to the likes of Dua Lipa and Zara Larsson. Now the 18-year old rising star is back with Bulletproof, another slice of confident electro-pop.

{New Visuals} Ideomotor-We Can’t Work

Here’s something new for your ears from Helsinki. Ideomotor keeps delivering the goods. Their new single We Can’t Work is an impressive follow-up for Amplify, the song that was dubbed as “an enthralling piece of doom-riddled electro-pop” by The Line Of Best Fit, “a swathe of glorious electronic mastery” by We Close Tonight, and praised by Clash among other hard-to-please music medias. The new music video was directed by Pete Veijalainen, one of Finland’s most acclaimed and awarded directors. Keep your eyes peeled as the crew is working towards their full length debut for next year. I love this! Check it out and let me know your thoughts. #DoItNow

{New Visuals} FEELS-Roadkill

FEELS is giving me with life with Roadkill. The single is refreshing and uplifting…definitely a energetic track and Joni Helminen’s cinematography is spot on. The band was formed by Sofi Meronen, Mikael Myrskog and producer Jooel Jons. Check out the video, and visit their website here.

{New EP} Anni-Redemption Street EP

Wow. I wasn’t expected to be so blown away by hearing this. Anni is a Helsinki bred songwriter, bringing you fresh tunes with her new EP, Redemption Street. Sometimes it is rare to find artist with the ability to capture an unexpecting audience with just a few songs. Anni has inevitably done just that. This is my introduction to Anni’s music, and I’m eager to see more of her work. I could describe this EP as a bit futuristic and electronic, but the piano gives an analog feel that we can connect to. I hope you check it out and share your thoughts.
