Gamers unite and rejoice as one! Gameband revealed their plans for what I know as the first gaming smartwatch and I couldn’t be more excited. As a kid, one of the first watches I ever received was a Super Mario game watch that I couldn’t beat. I didn’t know I loved it so much until the battery died. Mine looks exactly like this guy on the right.

The wait is over, Mario fans: Nintendo is about to officially release Super Mario Run. The game will be available on both the iPhone and iPad today, Dec. 15, in 151 different countries and regions. While there’s a free demo included in the game, full access costs $9.99. That’s steep for a mobile game, but…

I can’t say that I’m really big on mobile gaming. I think my eyes are lazy and don’t want to have to focus on small detail on adventure type of games. People hear Virtual Reality & think those wack games at Dave & Busters eons ago or the retina burning, neck cramping Virtual Boy console from Nintendo. Because of Zuck & Co. buying Oculus (known for their still-in-development Rift headset), now VR is all the rage.
Samsung has teamed with Oculus to make the Gear VR headset where you use your Note 4 (or the newly announced Galaxy S6) as the display, Google has makeshift VR with Cardboard & has partnered with Mattel for the next-gen ViewMaster, & today HTC announced the Vive, a headset being made in conjuction with Valve (Steam, Half-Life, Left4Dead).
