[Video] Them Evils- Untold

My introduction to Them Evils happened last year at Baltimore’s Rams Head Live. The band opened for The Pretty Reckless, and I was honestly blown away by their performance. No disrespect to The Pretty Reckless, but I EASILY enjoyed Them Evils’ set more than the headliner *shrug*. The band is from the west coast and their passion bleeds into each song. PLUS, the lead singer has some Robert Plant in his voice, and you KNOW how it makes me feel!!! Check out the video for Untold and get familiar with Them Evils via their website http://www.themevils.com/

Countdown To Metallica’s Hardwired…To Self Destruct

Ah Yes! The moment you’ve all been waiting for is almost upon us. Metallica, in my humble opinion, is one of thee most creative and consistent heavy metal bands of all time. Their tenth studio album, Hardwired…To Self Destruct will be dropping officially tomorrow, but the band has been leaving us bread crumbs to enjoy the countdown.

According to the website, videos have been dropping like hot cakes! Go ahead and get you some metal for your workday, and don’t forget to cop the album on itunes tomorrow. Salute Fellas!

{New Visuals} Avenged Sevenfold- The Stage

Seems like eons since I’ve enjoyed new music from the California band. Rumor has it that their new album will be dropping in December, so I’ll definitely keep my eye on that. As always, follow their twitter @TheOfficialA7X and show some love.

{New Music} Slothrust- Like a Child Hiding Behind Your Tombstone

The title of this track should lure you in…

I’m not super familiar with Slothrust, but when the title track slid across my twitter feed I had to check it out. You’ve gotta love music that doesn’t sound like a bunch of other stuff in your playlist. Check out this hypnotic tune and keep your eyes peeled for their upcoming project, Everyone Else, due next month. #DoItNow

{New Rock} {Thoughts} The Pretty Reckless- Take Me Down

Well now brown cow. New tunes from The Pretty Reckless!

I just heard this song on the radio and thought out loud “is this another satan song…again?” Don’t get me wrong, I know that rock historically has given us ‘the devil went down to Georgia’ type of stories for years. I kept seeing references to Robert Johnson selling his soul at the crossroads for fame. It just makes me wonder…how many of my favorite artists have metaphorically sold their sold for a little fame? How many have done it…literally. We all remember the Bob Dylan interview don’t we?

Let me know what you think if the song. #Go

{New Rock} I Prevail- Scars
