Happy New Year, Folks! Another year is gone by and the celebration is almost over. I just had a birthday and joined the arthritis club for seniors. In any event, while celebrating the New Year/Birthday I saw a boat load of problems unfold for people while enjoying their alcohol. I saw a guy get hit by a car.I tried to defuse a domestic dispute that could have been deadly. I saw people going to jail for fighting and I tried to remain calm while dealing with a drunk friend who wanted to drive.
If you are reading this, it’s too damn early.
We are in the 9 o’clock hour. I didn’t get to bed until 3am this morning, but I’m already awake. I can’t help but wonder…isn’t it too damn early in the year to be in jail, dead, or under someone’s parked car? Is it too damn early for me to give the side eye to the upcoming events of this year?
Happy New Year to everyone who is up early and plotting how 2016 is going to be even more awesome than 2015.
