Welp…this is awkward. I was recently discussing music with a buddy and he JUST told me to get familiar with Portishead.
Apparently SOS is a cover of an old Abba joint from back in the day. The Portishead rendition has a solemn, eerie vibe to it. In reading an article from Rolling Stone, they explained some of the message behind the video. Nicely done.
