Peace to Dazed for the scoop on this.
Thanks to the good people at Rolling Stone, I didnt have my work cut out for me this weekend. I had NO idea there were so many new albums that I would actually give a listen. Check out their article on the new albums to stream/cop below and let me know what you’re jamming to. Namaste.
Yeah! New music from LA indie group, The Fontaines. I hope to hear a lot more from them in the near future as I’ve heard they are gearing up for their debut album. Check out Evaporate and show your twitter love @TheFontaines #DoItNow
I can’t salute this lady enough. Missy Elliott has been a innovator and trendsetter in the hip hop and pop culture for eons now. She has ALWAYS been light years ahead of the music industry with her creativity and I feel like she hasn’t gotten the respect she deserves. It’s odd to me that her name doesn’t come up in the 10 top femcee conversations or anything. What gives?!
In any event, check out her new video featuring Lamb titled I’m Better.
Also, check out the trailer for her upcoming documentary. Salute Queen!
Helsinki based artist, Kiara Nelson, has been building a name for herself. Her debut single Cool My Rush was released earlier this year, earning loads of love from the music media in both her native Finland and around the world, and drawing comparisons to the likes of Dua Lipa and Zara Larsson. Now the 18-year old rising star is back with Bulletproof, another slice of confident electro-pop.

Here’s something new for your ears from Helsinki. Ideomotor keeps delivering the goods. Their new single We Can’t Work is an impressive follow-up for Amplify, the song that was dubbed as “an enthralling piece of doom-riddled electro-pop” by The Line Of Best Fit, “a swathe of glorious electronic mastery” by We Close Tonight, and praised by Clash among other hard-to-please music medias. The new music video was directed by Pete Veijalainen, one of Finland’s most acclaimed and awarded directors. Keep your eyes peeled as the crew is working towards their full length debut for next year. I love this! Check it out and let me know your thoughts. #DoItNow
If you are a supporter of this blog, you know I hate being late. In any event, UK pop sensation, Lyel, dropped this awesomeness over a month ago and I am just now catching up. Please follow her on twitter @lyelmusic and visit the website www.lyelmusic.com. Lyel is an inspiration and it is always a pleasure to hear her new creations! Happy Sunday.

Had no idea DNCe already had a video for this. I love their SWAAY EP, and though Cake By The Ocean has been out for eons, it is still in my summer 2016 playlist. Check out the video for Toothbrush and
